Joe grew up here in Vancouver, and graduated from Washington State University, Pullman, with a Criminal Justice degree minoring in Sociology and Political Science.
In 2004, Joe graduated from the Seattle University School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar.
During law school, he interned as a trial attorney in King County prosecuting for the cities of Kirkland, Burien, and Kenmore.
Joe subsequently worked as a criminal prosecutor locally until 2012 when he began private practice with a focus on criminal defense and prosecuting personal injury claims.
When not advocating for his clients, Mr. Loughlin continues to serve his community in the Washington Army National Guard as a Judge Advocate. He also served Honorably on active duty in the United State Marine Corps, obtaining the rank of Sergeant, from 1996-2000.
